Fida International Bangladesh believes that our country without violence against children is possible. Children should know love and protection. Our all commitment to our children and their family’s development through education. Child protection is a critical part of the project. If child protection is not successful, then not possible to progress in other areas. Protecting children from violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect is essential for them to enjoy their rights to survival, development and participation.
Children experience abuse, neglect, violence and exploitation in Bangladesh. In addition, the alarming rate of violence and torture against children continues in Bangladesh. Physical, sexual and psychological abuse is a serious concern. Fida International Bangladesh acknowledges this situation and is committed to preventing abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Fida International Bangladesh 415 children 20 tutors and 30 official staff. Children are getting free tuition, nutritious food, educational materials, creative teaching, and recreational activities through Joy & Hope Project. Fida thinks we can change huge impact in our working area.
Child Protection and Rights: Every child is very important and valuable to the authority. The project has its own child policy based on UN Convention on the Rights of the child. The policy instructs to pay special attention to ensuring the protection of the rights-holder and the accountability of duty-bearers. It steers principles, standards and guidelines on which to base organizational practice.
